We're always searching for ways to wear our hair on the weekends that aren't the same-old, same-old (aka the first formation our fingers create from muscle memory when it's time to get it off our faces). When we saw this chill, unfussy yet utterly cool side plait on Emma Roberts, we knew we'd found our match. From the looks of it, the style started with a deep side part, leaving a two- to three-inch section out in the front. The rest of the hair was woven into a standard side fishtail braid with extra pieces pulled out to enhance the messy, laid-back look. The front portion was then braided into a classic three-strand braid that was pinned back around atop the side fishtail. Though Roberts wore the look for a casual night out in West Hollywood, we think it makes the ideal daytime style for a summer Sunday of errands around town.
