Easter may bring woven gift baskets, Peeps, bunnies, and egg hunts, but we prefer a more refined way of celebrating—namely, on our nails. This year, why not leave the egg hunting to the little ones and try one of these elegant manicure ideas from nail guru Jin Soon Choi, instead? (But if you partake in the egg hunt afterwards, we won’t tell.)
Scroll through to see the step-by-steps!
Let your inner child show with this adorable Easter-inspired manicure.
Next, use a light blue, like JINsoon’s Poppy Blue ($18), on the ring finger. Remember: You don’t have to be too careful as you want the nails to look like cracked eggshells!
Keep going—almost there! Use JINsoon’s Tila ($18) (a rich teal) on the index finger.
Pause your Easter dinner planning to show your nails some egg-stra special attention (sorry, couldn’t help ourselves).
Start by applying a base coat like JINsoon’s Power Coat ($18) to prep the nails.
Then use JINsoon Farouche ($18) and literally draw an "M" shape at the cuticle and fill it in, then reverse the shape at the top of the nail.
Repeat Step 3 for all of the nails.
Using a thin brush, draw a fine line copying the exact "M" shapes you created with Steps 3 and 4. One shape underneath the top “M” and then one above bottom “M.” Finish with a top coat like JINsoon’s Top Coat ($18), or Sally Hansen’s Triple Shine Nail Polish Top Coat ($5), to complete the look.
And there you have it! Do you have any festive Easter manis that you’re trying out this year?
