Dyson's New Airwrap Styler Might Be the Last Hair Tool You'll Ever Need to Buy

Back in 2016, Dyson sparked industry waves when it launched its first-ever hair product, the Supersonic Hairdryer. Now, roughly two years later (a long pause in highly anticipated beauty launch speak), it's hit us with one of the most epic styling tools our strands and product-lusting eyes have seen. Meet the brand-new Dyson Airwrap Styler, available in three different configurations of accessories and attachments (don't worry, we'll get to the logistics in a second) and sure to rock strands worldwide.

Let's get back to the styler and all of its high-tech, glossy details. Regardless of whether you desire voluminous curls, effortless waves, or the smoothest of blowouts, the Airwrap is here for you. It ingeniously uses jets of air and a phenomenon called the Coanda effect, which occurs when those aforementioned high-speed jets of air flow across a surface (due to differences in pressure), and then attach themselves to the surface.

"Taking advantage of this principle, Dyson's team of aerodynamicists created a way to style hair using only air combined with heat," a press release from the brand states. "The result, whether you choose to curl, wave, smooth or rough dry your hair, creates a natural look with a sleek finish, helping prevent extreme heat damage."
