We Can't Get Over These Stunning Natural Hair Looks From Curlfest

Curlfest, one of the biggest hair festivals in the world, took place this past weekend at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Nothing is quite comparable to this beautiful celebration of curls, which brings together thousands of women of color in the name of natural hair. Imagine a uniquely gorgeous myriad of braids, kinks, and coils in the same place at the same time—that's Curlfest. Curly Girl Collective, founded by Tracey Coleman, Melody Henderson, Charisse Higgins, Gia Lowe, and Simone Mair, started the festival in 2014.

"There has been a void in our voice … and together we're saying we are here; we are enough," Curlfest co-founder Gia Lowe told Pix 11 news, which also noted activist Michaela Angela Davis calls the event "black girl heaven." Yes indeed. Scroll for some of the most breathtaking natural hair moments from this year's festival and our all-time favorite products to breathe life into your curls.
