Experience

Cortney got her start as a writer at Purch Magazine. She went on to work in editorial leadership roles at Black Brides Magazine and is now a full-time writer and producer. 

Education

Cortney received her A.S in Multimedia Programming & Design at Borough of Manhattan Community College and her B.A. in Journalism at Hofstra University with a minor in Fine Art. 

She also earned a Career and Technical Education Certification in Fashion Design from The High School of Fashion Industries.
