Last night, the 76th annual Golden Globes took place at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, making the end of the holidays feel a little less bleak. Whether you watched because you're a Lady Gaga fan or because you're a movie buff or for the witty banter between hosts Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg, it's certainly the topic that's on everyone's lips this morning. Personally, we're still reeling from the head-turning beauty looks that graced the red carpet, and one of our favorites was from Crazy Rich Asians star Constance Wu. Channeling an ethereal princess, Wu arrived wearing a frothy tulle custom Vera Wang Collection dress and paired it with a low chignon and matte makeup. We got an exclusive look at her getting-ready process via the lens of her makeup artist, Molly Greenwald, who used Shiseido makeup to create Wu's fluttery lashes and tawny lips.

12 p.m.: I arrive near the Beverly Hilton in a Lyft. Security was so tight I ended up having to walk on foot two blocks and navigate more security hiccups before entering through the kitchen, like the scene in Goodfellas

3:40 p.m.: She’s off! We turn on the red carpet while we clean up. I have a few interviews to give so I get on the phone and start posting to Instagram.

5:30 p.m.: I'm home! I'm going to relax and watch the Globes for a couple hours before heading back out to touch up Constance for the after-party look.

8:30 p.m.: I'm back at the Beverly Hilton for touch-ups. We went with a little more around the eyes and a deeper, glossier lip to go with her sparkly Vera Wang after-party dress. She looks amazing!
