Update: Now that we're less than a week out (!) from the launch date, ColourPop has obliged us with a peek at the new products. Allure snagged a first look at blushes and highlighters from the brand's Hello Kitty collab, and they're just about as adorable as we could have hoped:

As this month's Harry Potter makeup brush bonanza has made perfectly clear, beauty fans have spoken: We go nuts when makeup and our favorite characters collide. (With a little bit of nostalgia, the right amount of kitsch, and ultra-pretty products, what's not to love?) And now, ColourPop has given Sanrio fans reason to celebrate: a Hello Kitty makeup collaboration, set to launch on November 1.

Of course, this isn't the first time Hello Kitty has ventured into the beauty world—she can note collections with MAC, OPI, and Sephora on her ever-growing résumé. But ColourPop's cult fandom means business, as does Hello Kitty's, for that matter—making for one very buzzy collab.

ColourPop hasn't given us a peek at the products just yet, but if they're part of Hello Kitty's universe, we can guess with confidence that they'll be downright adorable. And we do know that the range will include four different eye shadows, two blushes, and the brand's beloved Lippie Stix in three shades—not to mention a handful of other lip products. The color palette is predictably full of iridescent pastels and lots of pink, and prices will range from $5 to $42 for a full face kit.

Shop the collection on starting November 1, and in the meantime, browse some of our favorite ColourPop products below.

ColourPop LippieStix $5

A dark mauve is the perfect shade for fall—especially in ColourPop's matte (but never drying!) finish.

ColourPop Eyeshadow in Jinxie $5

This subtly pearlized gold shade will suit all your holiday party needs.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Viper $6

Makeup fans agree: This is one of the best liquid-to-matte formulas on the market. (We're crushing hard on this rosebud hue, too.)
