ColourPop's Newest Launch Costs $5, and It Changes Everything
ColourPop's cult fanbase has had a lot to be excited about lately. Last year we saw a number of top-notch collaborations from the LA-based brand, ranging from Hello Kitty to Jaime King to vlogger Amanda Steele. And that's not even to mention the brand's signature range, which boasts quality, beautifully pigmented products at an unbelievably affordable price point. (Liquid lipstick for $6? Yes, please.)
And now that the brand has announced its first new product of the year, 2017 is looking just as bright. This week, ColourPop will launch its first-ever pressed eye shadows. At $5 a pop, the label encourages you to mix and match the 20 shades—in fact, if you purchase four, you'll get a free empty palette to house your ideal set. And if decision-making isn't your forte, don't sweat it: There will also be two fixed quad palettes available for $18.
While we haven't had the chance to try the colors out firsthand, the ColourPop team reports that the eye shadows are deeply pigmented with a smooth, velvety texture and can be used to define, highlight, contour, and line the eyes. (In other words, all the qualities we look for in an ideal eye shadow.)
Shop the Pressed Powders when they hit ColourPop's online store on January 13, and in the meantime, learn what to do with all the abandoned colors in your go-to eye palette.
