Dry skin. Whether it's something you deal with all year round or just with the change in seasons, know that you're not alone. Lately, I've been needing to pull out all of the lip balm stops to treat my poor, chapped lips. As for the rest of my face, I've doubled up on applying my favorite hydrating serum ($64), and am now adding a few drops of oil to my moisturizer at night. That said, there's one product, in particular, I've seen a real difference from using: Charlotte Tilbury's launch, the Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask ($22).
Referred to by the brand as "the dry mask of the future", it was largely inspired by innovations in Korean skincare. (Isn't everything these days?) One of its main selling points is the use of biomimetic technology which allows beneficial ingredients (like vitamin B3, and skin-boosting peptides) to be impregnated into the fabric mask itself, doing away with the need for a water-based formula. These ingredients are activated by putting on the mask and pressing it into the skin. Amazing, right? Because of the dry formula, which is naturally resistant to bacteria growth, you can also use each mask three times. Personally, it only took one go for me to fall head over heels in love. After 15 minutes, my dull face had recovered a little of its former glow, and the effects lasted all day. Even better, there was no gloopy cleanup. I'll definitely be stocking up in the next few months.
