Charles is a freelance writer and a contract lifestyle content editor on Dotdash Meredith's Performance Marketing team, where he works on articles for travel, food, and home sites. Previously, he was the senior English editor of MorningCalm, Korean Air's in-flight travel magazine. His writing has appeared in Travel + Leisure, The Spruce Eats, Lonely Planet, and other publications. He's the author of the book Seoul Sub→urban, a collection of profiles of neighborhoods in the South Korean capital.
