It's here: 31 days. 31 cities. 31 perspectives. Each day in the month of March, we're profiling an inspiring woman from across the world and asking her to share her beauty routine, products, and wellness secrets. Consider this your firsthand look into the beauty traditions and cultures of your beauty-obsessed counterparts from Thailand, Nigeria, and more (and don't forget to check our Instagram for a beauty-themed global takeover each day). Following Evelyn Choi, a Hong Kong–based beauty blogger, we have Lindsay Jang, a native Canadian who splits her time between Alberta and Hong Kong and is the founder of online fitness magazine MissBish and the co-owner of restaurants Yardbird and Ronin.

Lindsay Jang

The most popular beauty products and brands in your country right now:

In Hong Kong, I would say Korean beauty products all the way! Sheet masks, laser facials, suncare—I could go on and on.

The most popular beauty trends in your country right now:

When I’m in Hong Kong, I definitely notice amazing skin—the trend is flawless, spotless, and glowing! I would also say that a flattering highlight on the face, lash extensions, and strong brows are trends that are going strong as well!

Favorite traditional beauty secret from your country:

People truly take care of their skin in Asia, and they shield themselves from the damages of the sun. Prevention is key!

Where you buy beauty products:

I pretty much exclusively buy my beauty products online or at my dermatologist’s/facialist’s office.
