2023 Eco Beauty Awards

For Byrdie’s seventh-annual Eco Beauty Awards, we're doing things differently. Here's the truth: No brand (or consumer) can be perfect and the most sustainable option is not making products at all. But we live for great products and we want to champion brands that offer transparency, nuance, and mindful sustainability as part of their core values. So, this year, we decided to spotlight just six of our favorite formulas. The ultimate goal is to help us come together and find avenues to consume in more thoughtful ways.

Our team of 10 editors is constantly testing products throughout the year. We considered efficacy (which is paramount) as well as environmental impact, charitable elements, and any cool innovation in the sustainability space. Below, find Byrdie's 2023 Eco Beauty Award winners.
