7 Cool New Lip Products We Can't Wait to Try

Updated 05/15/17

Let’s talk pretty pouts for a moment, if we may. As is the norm around the holidays, there’s been an onslaught of collaborations and products introduced in recent months—likely in an attempt to pique our interest in a time of year that’s fairly spendthrift. No bigs. We’re no stranger to the obvious ploys here. Digging beyond the blatant rubble, however, we’ve honed in on some real gems, and they are from largely under-the-radar brands, we might add. Click the gallery to see seven lip colors we are seriously jazzed to try out this winter.

Winky Lux Blue Moon $13

The new (as in two months old) sassy millennial brand launches a new color of lipstick every month on its site. Recently spotted? A green-blue we imagine would have Kylie Jenner freaking out if she saw it in her stocking.

Kosas Lipstick $24

A brand-new four-piece line of lipsticks that, at least from their website, appear to give that perfect staining effect to lips creating the perfect pout. Our favorite color is probably Darkroom.

Hourglass No. 28 Lip Treatment Oil in Icon $42

This limited-edition lip-treatment oil—available in a fiery red you’re going to freak out over—doubles as an anti-aging lip treatment that improves moisture levels, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, and claims to improve both lip shape and texture. That’s great, but it's not why we want it. We want it because the application tip is plated with 24-karat gold, an opulent yet unnecessary feature that makes it crazy glamorous. Sold!

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Robohoochie Lip Tar $15

The newly released gloss, pegged as a sort of futuristic lip sheen, oozes cool. Translation? It’s metallic in a good way. We dig the magenta Jem vibe going on here.

Chosungah 22 Flavorful Lipstick $18

Got dry lips? Why not rock a lip balm infused with a splash of color AND argan oil. It promises to hydrate you back to kissable status in no time. We’re pretty into trying the company's Chai Tea shade.

M.A.C. Dita Von Teese

Stop everything! MAC has teamed up with Dita Von Teese for a limited-edition lipstick, and it goes live on MAC's site tomorrow. If there’s one thing we trust Ms. Von Teese and MAC know well, it’s seductive makeup. We can’t wait. No word on the price just yet.

Chanel Rouge Allure in Pensive $36

Dare we say this is the perfect nude? It certainly appears to be a front-runner. Swoon!
