While your sinuses and skin might be sorted with a humidifier, there are a few things you really need to know to ensure you stay as healthy as possible. For starters, if you don't clean your humidifier, it can lead to health problems, so make sure there isn't a buildup of bad bacteria (there's a handy guide on AllergyandAir.com). Humidifiers aren't necessarily good for those who suffer with dust mite allergies, as dust mites can thrive in more humid areas. Instead, you might want to invest in a dehumidifier.
