Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s new single “WAP” may have just won the hardest visuals for summer 2020. The outfits, the makeup, and the hair—but let’s talk about the hair. From a ‘90s favorite to a custom dye-job, the hair moments were memorable and plentiful. The rappers slayed these looks on screen, but it was celebrity hairstylists Tokyo Stylez and Kellon Deryck who created them behind-the-scenes. Tokyo worked her magic on her long-time client Cardi, while Kellon waved his wand over Megan’s mane.

She shared a shot from "WAP" saying it was her “favorite look.”

Cardi loves cuban links. The proof is in her hefty jewelry collection and now her hair. This chain-link ponytail, courtesy of Tokyo Stylez, was inspired by a similar look featured in the new show Legendary on HBOMax. The original style was crafted by Emmy-nominated hair stylist, Greg Bazemore, who was most recently recognized for his work in Pose.
