Jourdan Dunn took a break from the catwalk and attended the Burberry Prorsum show in London—with perfectly tousled model-off-duty hair, off course.
We aren’t over Kate Mara’s hair yet, and we suspect we never will be. The actress rocked a deep side part half-braid at Coach’s 2014 Summer Party (courtesy of hairstylist Peter Butler, who used the Meta Lush Volumizer ($23) from Serge Normant to pump up the volume)—proof that slicked-back hair is wearable off the runway.
Makeup artist Kristin Gallegos gave Lezark a subtle smoky eye for last week's 2014 Fragrance Foundation Awards. “We went for a smoky eye, but a bit understated,” she says. “Leigh has piercing eyes, so I enhanced them with browns and blacks, and kept her lip natural.” She mixed MAC’s Eye Shadows ($15) in Soft Brown Matte and Corduroy for a soft wash of color over Lezark’s lid, then defined her lash line with MAC’s Eye Kohl ($16) in Coffee. Lip-wise, she used cult-favorite Lucas Papaw Ointment ($30) for a slight sheen.
Paquin was all smiles at the season seven premiere of her hit show True Blood. Makeup artist Amy Nadine Clement gave her a sultry smoky eye by swiping Charlotte Tilbury’s Color Chameleon ($19) in Amethyst Aphrodisiac all over her top and bottom lids, then layered the brand’s Luxury Palette ($38) in Vintage Vamp to add more dimension. She swiped Eyeko’s Skinny Brush Mascara ($19) on Paquin’s lashes, then added Winks by Georgie Strip Lashes ($15) in #7 for extra drama.
A red lip doesn’t always need a dramatic eye to balance it out. Case in point: Riley Keough at Coach’s 2014 Summer Party. “Her outfit was pretty casual so we decided not to do anything heavy,” makeup artist Kristin Gallegos says. “We went for a fresh look instead, with a focus on a strong red lip!” The lipstick in question? MAC’s Lipstick ($16) in Ruby Woo.
Lucy Hale can do no wrong when it comes to bombshell curls—her perfect waves here are proof.
Of course Chloe Sevigny rocks cotton candy lipstick with ease—try Make Up For Ever’s Rouge Artiste Intense Lipstick ($20) in Satin Fresh Pink to imitate her look.
Peltz is one to watch—for her acting skills and the gorgeous beauty looks she’s been rocking on the press tour for her movie, Transformers: Age of Extinction. CHANEL celebrity makeup artist Kate Lee gave her a perfectly-flicked cat eye and glossy nude lip for a look that’s pure Old Hollywood glamour.
