It might be the dead of winter, but A-listers like Sarah Hyland, Gabrielle Union, and Jamie Chung don’t care. See: their glowy skin, beachy waves and brightly-lacquered lips. Keep clicking to see the best celebrity looks of the week!
We call this look the Heidi vixen—it’s sweet, with just the right amount of edge. Hairstylist Jennifer Yepez divided Heatherton’s hair into two sections, then braided starting from the bottom of each section, framing her face. She pinned the ends in place and pulled apart the braid to add texture and a touch of messiness.
“My inspiration for this look was youth and spring,” makeup artist Angela Levin says. “Something about the dress and the ponytail gave me those emotions.” She mixed Chanel’s Rouge Coco Hydrating Crème Lip Colour ($35) in Caractére and the brand’s Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine ($35) in Ingènue for the perfect shade of pink.
The Modern Family actress showed up at the Elle Women in Television dinner sporting a bright pink lip, courtesy of makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan, who used mark.’s All Butter Now Lip Treat ($11) in Pop Tart.
At the same event, Jenn Dewan-Tatum rocked peachy cheeks and lush lashes—the perfect accompaniment to her metallic Reem Acra dress.
You wouldn’t think a mint dress and lavender lips would work together, but somehow Vampire Diaries actress Kat Graham makes it look utterly polished. We suddenly have a strong urge to find a pale purple lipstick of our own, stat.
Of course, Kate Bosworth pulls off the ubiquitous lob with the grace and elegance of a Grecian goddess. Hairstylist Harry Josh (who is also responsible for the cut) used John Frieda products to add sleek, soft body to her strands, while makeup artist Hung Vanngo channeled a “modern day Great Gatsby” vibe, with luminescent skin and just a touch of shimmer on the inner corners of her eyes.
Gabrielle Union doesn’t need an ounce of makeup to turn heads, but this super-flattering fuchsia lip adds that extra oomph.
We’re obsessed with Jamie Chung’s softly tousled, beachy waves, courtesy of Nicholas Cole, a hairstylist for the on-demand beauty app PRIV. Which of these looks is your favorite? Sound off below!
