If you thought highlighting was a makeup tactic reserved for your face, think again. In reality, it's also a great way to lend the rest of your body a truly luminescent faux glow. And those who didn't get their hands on some Fenty Beauty Body Lava before it swiftly sold out last month are in luck: There's another shimmery body oil that's trending in a big way at the Met Gala.
Yara Shahidi, Kate Upton, Lily Aldridge, Scarlett Johansson, and Tiffany Haddish can all credit their lit-from-within-looking skin to Sol de Janeiro's limited-edition Glow Oils, which are designed to subtly bronze, highlight, and moisturize skin all in one go. It's the latest from the brand behind our favorite cellulite cream and body hair enhancer. (Yes, it's a thing.)
The Glow Oil is available in two shades, which both carry their own addictive fragrances as well. Copacabana, the bronzer of the two, has the brand's signature pistachio and salted caramel scent, while Ipanema, a champagne shimmer, is scented with pomelo, wild fig, and gardenia. From fragrance to beach-worthy shimmer, it's basically the closest thing you'll find to a vacation in a bottle.
And while the A-list may have reserved it for the biggest red carpet of the year, we plan on copying the look all summer long.
