The first part of Mad Men’s final season premiered last night, bringing with it the beginning of the (very sad) end of the cult series. Over the last seven years, we’ve enjoyed a visual feast of ‘60s beauty every Sunday night. From Joan Harris’ sexy cat eyes, to Betty Draper’s pursed matte lips, the show nailed the time period perfectly. To celebrate the series, let’s take a trip down memory lane with a handful of the best beauty looks over the years.

Whether you love her or hate her, chances are you have a pretty strong opinion about Draper—which is exactly what we assume the writers wanted when they crafted this powerful female lead. Draper often accentuates her pearls and pretty ensembles with matte pink lips, brushed-out retro curls, and plenty of sass.
We all have a small piece of us that wishes we could be a little more like Harris. She owns her sexuality, pairing her skin-tight pencil skirts with a thick line of upturned liquid liner or a deep crimson pout. And did we mention her amazing red hair?
Watching Olsen’s journey from secretary to copywriter in a man’s world? One of our favorite parts of the show. Olsen kept it natural in the first season, then began to play around with non-makeup makeup as her character gained more confidence.
Paré, the second wife of Jon Hamm’s character, Don Draper, gets to have the most fun with her hair and makeup in the series. From a smoky eye, to a teetering up-do, you never know what she’s going to cook up in her walk in boudoir.
The moneyed wife of Pete Campbell, Trudy Campbell, is the resident queen of a polished up-do, which she pairs with beautiful rosy cheeks and lips.
