What would the beauty world be without the best beauty blogs? On the weekend (or whenever—who are we kidding?), we love nothing more than checking out what our favorite influencers are posting, from the products they're raving about or the makeup tutorials they're loving. While makeup and skincare blogs launch all the time, we continue to go back to certain experts over and over again, whether that's because they've been pillars of the beauty community for a long time or their expert knowledge is simply unrivaled. Because it's rude not to share, we thought we'd let you in on the Byrdie edit of the world's best beauty bloggers.
Why follow: Based in Brighton, Anna is incredibly knowledgeable about skincare (check out her post on how to achieve glowy skin) and one of the most organized women I've ever met. She's happy to share all her secrets on her website (her super-helpful morning productivity post isn't to be missed) and YouTube channel.
Katie Jane Hughes
Why follow: There are many things we love about Katie Jane Hughes's approach to beauty. Whether that's the most gorgeous eye makeup tutorials we've ever seen or a blow-by-blow account of getting microblading on her Insta Stories, we're hooked.
A Style Album
Why follow: Em and Lou of A Style Album know exactly what you need in your beauty wardrobe. Whether that's a great-smelling candle or your perfect signature lippie, these are the ladies who help us find true classics.
Why follow: If you want awesome beauty tips as well as a slice of life advice on the side, visit Tia Ward's blog.
Why follow: If it's super-glam beauty looks you're after, you'll find them at Patricia Bright's page. While you can watch her YouTube videos, we also love her detailed posts on how to get dolled up, complete with lists and ratings of the products she uses.
Why follow: London-based Shirley appears to be all about fashion, but she has some incredible beauty tricks and tips, too. From wedding-guest beauty ideas to the ideal nude face, she's got you covered.
Why follow: While we love checking out Bleach London's Insta feed for hair-color ideas, we also often turn to Zoe London, who changes hers up with bold and bright hues. And if you're worried about how much dye is affecting your strands, fear not—she even has a great tip for how to fix that.
Beauty Is Boring
Why follow: Despite this blog's moniker, its approach to beauty is anything but. Expect bold, bright and breathtaking images from this contemporary site. In other words, it's the ideal place to find inspiration when you're tired of your old makeup routine and looking to kick-start a transformation.
Sali Hughes Beauty
Why follow: You can't talk about beauty and not mention Sali Hughes. As well as being the resident beauty columnist for The Guardian and having written one of the most brilliant books on beauty we've ever read (Pretty Honest), she also runs the blog Sali Hughes Beauty. Expect to find tutorials, product reviews and videos of chats in her bathroom with fellow beauty people. Reviews are honest, upfront and always exactly what you need.
The Anna Edit
Why follow: Blogger Anna Gardner has been running Vivianna Does Makeup since about 2010. She currently has nearly 400,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel, and it's easy to see why. She is a true makeup and beauty addict and offers up fantastic details about the products she reviews. Not only does she look at the luxury market, but she's also up for hunting out a big bargain, something we always love finding out about too.
The Beauty of It Is
Why follow: Care about the environment and want to avoid toxic beauty products but can't seem to find decent products? Allow Katey Denno of The Beauty of It Is to be your guide. She often updates her Insta feed with great "green" product reviews. She's also an incredible makeup artist.
Why follow: Wendy Rowe is the creative director for Max Factor, so her blog is very much about how to create those incredible makeup looks she does for the likes of Sienna Miller and Victoria Beckham. While these are high glamour, the tutorials on her site give you the opportunity and know-how to do them at home.
I Covet Thee
Why follow: We enjoy a fellow makeup addict, which is why I Covet Thee features in our best-bloggers list. As well as an array of pretty covetable products on her Instagram account (hence the name, we imagine), there's also a great range of tutorials on her YouTube account.
Why follow: In the world of beauty vloggers, sisters Samantha Chapman and Nicola Haste are true veterans. They launched their YouTube channel 11 years ago and now have over two million subscribers. Their tutorials are easy to follow and entertaining, and range from Gwen Stefani to Halloween costumes, as well as more basic how-tos such as light contouring.
A Model Recommends
Why follow: What we love about Ruth Crilly of A Model Recommends is her down-to-earth approach to skincare and makeup. The international model is one to follow for skincare advice that actually works—you need only read a couple of the comments on her blog to realize that she knows exactly what she's talking about and understands how to get results.
Why follow: Formerly known as Essie Button, Estée Lalonde has been running her beauty and lifestyle blog for five years. As well as providing helpful beauty video tutorials on her YouTube channel, she shares a inside look at her life on Instagram, as well as her current favorite beauty buys. The gorgeous aesthetic that runs throughout her blog is total #goals.
Why follow: Amber Clark is a beauty blogger who hails from NYC but is currently in Hawaii. While there are lots of snaps on her Insta feed featuring her husband and kids, there's one reason why we keep coming back to her blog: her braids. A self-confessed plait-obsessive, she has given us serious hair envy.
The Sunday Girl
Why follow: If you know anything about British blog The Sunday Girl, you'll know that this is dedicated to review new products; there are no tutorials here. But that's just one of the reasons why this blog is so refreshing; it sticks to what it knows it does best. From perfumes to toothbrushes, as well as all the latest makeup launches, this has a lot to offer the makeup addict.
Why follow: Doina Ciobanu has the most jet-set of lifestyles and is constantly on the move. For that very reason alone, we know that she's got her beauty regimen down to a T. She's also full of inspo for hairstyles, which is just another reason to read her blog (and her column over on Byrdie too).
Why follow: We've been following makeup artist and blogger Claire Marshall for some time now, and we quite often like to see what she's up to on Snapchat. Not only because she gives us a sneak peek at her daily life but also because she does great beauty looks. Her hair always looks amazing, and we just love her tattoos as well.

Why follow: If you're a fan of Byrdie, you'll have noticed that we've featured Lesley of Fresh Lengths a lot. And there's a good reason for that. She's an incredible blogger with new and exciting ideas for natural hair. And she's super gorgeous too. Need we say more?
Why follow: Want seriously easy yet incredible makeup tutorials? Head straight to makeup artist Lisa Eldridge's YouTube channel. From a daily beauty routine for work to giving you a step-by-step no-makeup look, pull out these videos when you want to nail a new style immediately. On Instagram, you'll get fun behind-the-scenes shots with many of her A-list clients.
Why follow: Yanin Namasonthi is super cool. Not only is her style on point, she also gives us great behind-the-scenes looks at cool events and shopping experiences (like visiting a nail polish vending machine). We're incredibly jealous right now.
The Beauty Look Book
Why follow: Sometimes you just need a good swatch to see if you like a beauty product. Instead of tutorials, The Beauty Look Book focuses on high-end beauty products, which is great if you're a total skincare and makeup junkie.

Cult of Pretty
Why follow: When you're tired of all the other beauty products, go to Cult of Pretty immediately. It's run by Ann Colville Somma, who has worked in the beauty industry for over a decade and works in product development and innovation, so she knows a thing or two about the hottest new beauty products.

Why follow: Fun is the word we'd use to describe head Benefit makeup artist Lisa Potter-Dixon. Because that's exactly what you get—beauty tutorials with a slice of excitement. From advice on how to do wedding makeup to the fake freckle trend, you'll enjoy watching her videos as much as you will learning from them.
