I've been known to unabashedly covet all things Hadid. I tried to smell like them, eat like them, and do all things fashion week like them. Now thanks to a wildly informative interview with Elle.com, I'm going to look like them too. (I can hear my co-workers snickering in the background as I write these words because, okay fine, I'm a psycho fangirl.)
Vincent Oquendo is an up-and-coming celebrity makeup artist—I use that term loosely because he's already worked with Hailey Baldwin, Ashley Graham, and Olivia Culpo—and is responsible for many of Bella's most recent looks. Below, we've gifted you with all the secrets he dished.
1. Use a blush brush to keep your foundation from caking
Oquendo says this is the "anti-cake" solution to the problem.
2. Warm Your skin with a darker shade of foundation
Because your face is slightly more pale than the rest of your body, warming up the skin with a darker shade of foundation helps give you that extra-glowy spark.
3. Create depth in your forehead
According to Oquendo, camera flashes flatten out our foreheads. To remedy that, make sure to add depth to your forehead with a subtle contour.
4. Feather your brows
Rather than over-filling your brows, keep it light and effortless with a tinted brow gel and a quick feather.
5. Bring a clump-free mascara when you travel
Oquendo mentions this mascara is his absolute favorite: "There's no clumps, it's just heaven. I put this on Ashley [Graham] before and she's gone on a plane to L.A., and she said her makeup didn't move."
