We’ve been following Blair Eadie’s blog, Atlantic-Pacific, for years, watching her style evolve from her time in San Francisco as a merchandiser for Old Navy to her current role as director of merchandising for Tory Burch in New York. One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is her unique beauty look. She pairs retro bouffants with modern Zara duds and Valentino flats, and started matching her lipstick, nail polish, and clothes long before it was cool. Her unique, uptown-retro beauty look may be feminine, but the word ‘girly’ doesn’t do it justice.
It’s that unique perspective that makes her the perfect candidate for our second dive into our favorite bloggers’ beauty routines.
Whether curled, slicked back, or teased, Eadie’s signature blonde locks always look healthy, even though she gets highlights very five or six week. Her trick? “I trade off between getting partial highlights and full foil every other time,” she says. For at home TLC, she uses Kérastase’s Elixir Ultime Serum ($54).
The secret behind Eadie’s retro up-dos? “Lots of mousse, hairspray, bobby pins, and teasing!” she says. “I love John Frieda’s product for hold.” When she wears her tresses down, she uses her GHD Straightener ($185) for smoothness.
Eadie started matching her lipstick and nail polish long before Rachel Bilson and Poppy Delevingne started coordinating. “Sometimes it takes careful planning and sometimes it’s a wonderful accident!” she says. “Lately I’ve been rocking red with almost everything and it always works.” Her go-to combo? Pop Beauty’s Nail Glam ($10) in Ripe Red and Stila’s Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick ($22) in Beso.
To maintain her bright complexion, Eadie uses Kate Somerville’s ExfoiliKate ($65) and Dr. Dennis Gross’ Alpha Beta Glow Pads ($32). “They’re really good for winter,” she says about the latter. She also keeps Almay’s Makeup Removing Pads ($6) on hand.
Eadie’s biggest beauty inspiraton probably won’t surprise you: “Audrey Hepburn,” she says. “She always looks perfectly put together.”
On Eadie’s vanity you’ll find her signature scent, Hermes’ Vetiver Tonka ($200), and go-to lip colors: Nars’ Semi-Matte Lipstick ($26) in Schiap and Make Up For Ever’s Rouge Artist Intense ($20) in No. 40.
