Today marks the finale of Afropunk, the two-day, Brooklyn-based festival, now on its 14th year, which reigns supreme as one of the country's biggest celebrations of music and originality. Music-wise, this year's lineup didn't disappoint, including such badass females as Adeline, Janelle Monáe, Erykah Badu, Ibeyi, Yuna, Jamila Woods, and more, and beauty-wise, we've been just as impressed. The festival has always served up major inspiration—gorgeously dense in the beat of rhythmic African heritage. And thus far, the concertgoers' stunning handiwork has been one for the books: face paint, intricate braids, incomparable curls, and statement-making pops of color where it counts—all atop lids, cheeks, nails, and lips.
Left unequivocally enchanted by the plethora of looks we've seen on our feeds the past two days, we selected some of the most impressive moments of them all. Keep scrolling for the must-see beauty looks from 2018's Afropunk Festival. Enjoy!
