As beauty editors, we get bombarded with a ton of new products every day (we know—tough life). “Reviewed” is a new series where we report on some of the best products we’ve tried. Whether it’s a drugstore lipstick that lasted all day, or a hand cream that saved us this winter, you’ll find all of our favorites in this column. Enjoy!

As someone who grew up with rosacea, blush has never been an "essential" part of my makeup routine. Mildly traumatized from years when my cheeks looked perpetually ruddy and pink, I wasn't exactly ever searching for a product to give me a similar effect. When my rosacea got better, I got on board the Nars Orgasm Blush train, but I steered clear of cream blushes, as they were too saturated and heavy to work for me.

But when a package of Youngblood products landed on my desk last week, my blush aversion officially became a thing of the past. The brand’s Luminous Creme Blush ($27) in Pink Cashmere, feels lightweight, like the texture of spun silk. The experience of dabbing it with your fingers is borderline sensuous. When smoothed onto the apples of my cheeks and upward, it delivered the prettiest and most natural-looking, but glowy light pink sheen. I later caught a glimpse of my cheekbones in the light and might have "ooohed" out loud. The product is sheer, so you don't have to worry about looking like Raggedy Ann, which was always my fear with cream blush. And as a final little bonus, I am absolutely in love with the chic, sleek packaging. Instead of coming in a tub or pot like many other cream blushes, it comes in a slim little container that could slide into your jeans pocket unnoticed. This cream blush is now an official step in daily beauty routine.
