Jessica Stam

In our second installment of our What's In Her Makeup Bag series, we take a peek inside major model Jessica Stam's beauty kit. The professional beauty shares her essentials (the right combination of tinted moisturizer and foundation) and reveals what she skips (eye shadow) when she's doing her own makeup!

    Papers

Dior HVN Limited Edition Blotting Papers

"These are great to have on hand in the summer to reduce shine when you don't feel like using powder." Sadly, these limited edition papers--designed by Harley Viera-Newton--are sold out, but Sephora Collection's Matte Blotting Papers ($8) or Tatcha's Original Beauty Papers ($12) should do the trick.

MAC Powder Blush ($20) in Prism

    Foundation

Giorgio Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation ($59) in 5.5 Beige

In addition to mixing this product with Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer, Stam also uses it to cover imperfections. "I don't use concealer," she says. "If there's something I need to cover, I just double up on foundation. I think it's important for your skin to be able to breathe."

    Moisturizer

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Oil Free ($42) in Porcelain

"Sometimes you have to mix different shades to find one that's right for you. That's why I mix Laura Mercier's Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer in Porcelain with a touch of Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation in 5.5. I like the texture of the combined products."

    Eyebrow Powder

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo ($22) in Taupe

"I find it's easier to get a good brow shape with a powder--as opposed to a pencil--and it looks more natural that way."

  • 10 of 12

    Mascara

CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Mascara ($8) in Black

"I like this mascara because it lasts a really long time, doesn't clump, and stays put while thickening my lashes. I use LashBlast Volume in Black for night and Brown for day."

  • 11 of 12

    Eyeliner

CoverGirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner ($8) in Blue Boom

"I don't normally wear eye shadow, but if I'm looking for something fun, I'll smudge CoverGirl Liquiline Blast in Blue Boom or Violet Voltage on my inner rim and my eyelids."

    Lipstick

CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick ($7) in Heavenly

"I love these lipsticks because they are creamy, last all day, and the colors are straight from the runway. Plus, they actually make my lips softer over time!" Stam wears Heavenly, shown above, during the daytime and likes either Hot or Spellbound for evening.
