If you’re on a health kick this year or just love cold-pressed beverages, you may want to check out Juicero Press, the world’s first at-home cold-press juicing system. The source of "farm-to-glass” goodness will set you back $699 and is only available in California at the moment, but this just might be the future of juicing. The company was founded by former Organic Avenue CEO Doug Evans, a plant-based nutrition advocate on a mission to bring the freshest juice to consumers everywhere.

So how does this super appliance work? The Juicero is WiFi enabled and works with the push of the single button located on the front. There’s basically zero cleanup because all you need are the Juicero Packs, which will run $4 to $10 each and are filled with 100% raw, organic produce that is grown, triple-washed, chopped, mixed, packed, and then delivered to your home. That’s right—a single packet and an empty glass are all you need, and two minutes later you’ll have a delicious fresh juice. Currently there are five juice flavors—Greens, Sweet Greens, Spicy Greens, Carrot Beet, and Sweet Roots—but we’re hopeful that more will follow. That’s not it, though; there’s a Juicero app that gives users nutritional information on the produce in each pack, in addition to the ability to order, track, and cancel orders for the packets.

The company plans to partner with businesses like Le Pain Quotidien to serve its juice to customers and spread the word, so this notion of farm-to-glass could be the next big thing. After all, word on the street is that Gwyneth Paltrow, Justin Timberlake, and Dr. Oz are fans.
