Reviewed: W3LL People Bio Brightener Stick

As beauty editors, we get bombarded with a ton of new products every day (we know—tough life). "Reviewed" is a series where we report on some of the best products we’ve tried. Whether it’s a drugstore lipstick that lasted all day or a hand cream that saved us this winter, you’ll find all of our favorites in this column. Enjoy!

ICYMI: Strobing is still #trending. Some say it’s the new contouring, but it’s really not—it’s quite the opposite, in fact. It's basically is a fancy word for highlighting, with the main difference being that strobing involves no shading or sculpting at all—only light. You “strobe” anywhere a light would hit your face, so above your cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose, at the top of your forehead by your hairline… basically, anywhere that makes you look like an ethereal, otherworldly being (angels: so hot right now).

Thus, my discovery of W3ll People’s Bio Brightener Stick ($29) came at the most opportune time. This handy, chic little highlighter stick makes it easy for me to add a touch of light anywhere on my face, and the formula is divinely creamy and sheer. Unlike with other highlighters, you don’t get any sort of glittery, shimmery finish; instead, the cream formula applies silky-smooth and gives your skin a natural, lit-from-within glow. If “angelic being” is your end goal, this is the holy wand that will help you achieve it. Plus, I’m a sucker for anything in tube form and love that I can apply it directly to my face from the stick if I want to—because, let’s be real, ain’t nobody got time for brushes. And finally, the best, best part? The formula, like the rest of the line, is cruelty-free, gluten-free, and free of artificial chemicals and scary-sounding ingredients. Instead, things like grape-seed oil (which tops the ingredients list), olive oil, and 100% organic aloe make up this magical formula—so feel free to swipe (and strobe) with abandon.
