That long bob, a.k.a, 'the lob' sported by Faye Dunaway in Bonnie and Clyde, has become as iconic as the ill-fated couple at the center of the story. This summer's seen a slew of lookalikes, albeit slightly messier-and minus the beret. Emily Blunt and Teen Vogue Fashion News Director Jane Keltner De Valle wear theirs sharp and sleek, the opposite of Ali Larter and Olivia Wilde's surf spray-infused looks. Mad Men's Jessica Pare turned her retro cut into a modern lob with soft curls, while Annabelle Dexter-Jones cut blunt bangs for an Alexa Chung -like style. Our favorite, model Ruby Aldridge, masters the flat-iron curl and shows off perfectly blunt ends. In fact, the collection of long bobs above demonstrates why the hairstyle's become so popular: it leaves you with enough hair to change up your look, but not so much that styling becomes a chore.
