There are few things in life that make us giddier than a good designer-makeup brand collab. Case in point: design duo Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough of Proenza Schouler’s newest collection with MAC Cosmetics.
At first glance, the packaging—inspired by the pair’s playful S/S ‘10collection—seems to be the ultimate ode to the bright, bold hues their line is known for. Upon closer inspection, however, you’ll notice that the products themselves come in an array of shades that are surprisingly subtle.
The four lipsticks range from a light pink beige (Woodrose) to a sheer berry plum (Primrose), while the ombré blushes are a cool pink (Sunset Beach) and toasty coral (Ocean City). The rest of the collection includes two lip pencils, two eyeliners, four nail lacquers, and a powder brush, all of which are sure to sell out quickly.
