We can always recognize Priyanka Chopra in a crowd, thanks to her long and voluminous brown hair. She's kept it at roughly the same length, only switching it up a few times over the course of the past few years. The color has also remained quite similar, normally staying a rich chocolate brown shade that's highlighted with a few chestnut pieces in the front.

But all good things come to an end. In Chopra's case, the end of her long mermaid-esque hair resulted in an even better style. She has officially switched up her hair to the one cut that seems to be slowly gaining momentum throughout celeb circles. A-listers like Selena Gomez and pretty much all of the Kardashian sisters have taken part, recently abandoning their longtime length in favor of shorter, more texturized styles. Keep scrolling to see Priyanka Chopra’s new lob haircut!

Chopra debuted her new cut on her Instagram, posting this photo collage and captioning it, "When u have a new hair cut and can’t help but constantly touch it to make sure it’s all ok up there!! Lol." She's pictured on the set of her TV series Quantico, which is currently filming its third season. Consequently, we're not sure if the cut was Chopra's personal decision or necessary for her character in the show, Alex Parrish.

Either way, we think it looks absolutely amazing. We love the shorter, updated look that comes complete with balayage highlights. We think it looks fresh and kind of youthful, too. It's all thanks to her hairstylist Christopher Fulton, who expertly kept the actress's volume and dimension intact by adding what looks to be super-subtle layers. (All hail celeb hairstylists.)

Chopra's full and bouncy texture has inspired us to reach for Bumble and bumble's Thickening Volume Creme Contour ($29), which is a melty paste that provides texture, hold, and, of course, that lovely, desirable volume.
