NYC's New Members-Only Spot Is All About Wellness (and Yoga)

Adrianna Barrionuevo

Ever wish you could work, eat, do yoga, and meditate all in the same place? Meet Primary, a brand-new wellness-oriented space where New Yorkers can spend their days being productive and maintain a sense of well-being. While it's technically a co-working space, the lower Manhattan location feels like a refreshing change of pace from coffee shops and the average office environment. The layout boasts a feng shui flow that includes an airy entrance followed by a café that serves snacks from Dig Inn, juices from Lulitonix, and drinks from Stumptown Coffee. There are two entrances: one that leads to the yoga studio and another to the workspace.

The studio hosts over 30 classes per week, where members can drop in for guided meditation as well as fitness classes—just remember to bring along makeup wipes, like Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes ($5). And if that isn't enough to make you want to consider joining, then you have to feast your eyes on our favorite part, the spa-like bathroom. That's right; the beautiful bathroom features six steam showers, lockers, and private rooms where acupuncture and massage services are available. If it sounds too good to be true, think again. This is the company's first location, and word is another one is coming to the Flatiron District very soon. With perks beyond the startup standards, this creative space will surely change the game in no time.
