Just like similar high fashion–turned-beauty empires, Marc Jacobs has a roster of some seriously awesome celebrity ambassadors. People like Jessica Lange, Edie Campbell, Winona Ryder, Aya Jones, and Kaia Gerber have or currently are featured in beauty campaigns for the brand (clearly, he knows how to spot an icon or two).

Well, the brand is expanding its celeb clientele yet again. It was just announced that the newest brand ambassador is none other than model and activist Adwoa Aboah, and we couldn't be happier. Not only is she a total beauty inspiration, but she's also walked for nearly every major designer during fashion month and starred front and center on many an editorial magazine cover. But lo and behold, now she's adding "global beauty campaign star" to her already insane résumé. Keep scrolling to see her first campaign photo and learn about the new Marc Jacobs product that is launching in December.

This is the first image from the 2018 beauty campaign. As you can see, it envelops the brand's signature use of vivid and unique color combinations. In it, Aboah wears a never-before-seen Marc Jacobs Beauty product, called the Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon. It's a combination of a liquid lipstick and lip crayon, meaning it's long lasting and ultra pigmented just like a liquid formula but is easier to apply evenly and precisely like a crayon. It will debut at Sephora on December 12.

As for Aboah, she's also a badass human rights activist and founder of the website Gurls Talk. We highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already. It's a platform for girls to listen, share experiences, and find strength, empowerment, and community in a virtual space. Seriously, go check it out—we'll wait.

Even though Aboah's no stranger to the spotlight, she's still incredibly excited for her new role. "Marc gave me my first fashion show in New York City," Aboah said in a press release. "It was a dream come true, and from that point on, he has been one of my biggest supporters. I am so excited to be the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty, and to have been able to work alongside Marc once again is truly inspirational. His attention to detail is like no other, and you see his vision instantly come to life."
