If Kylie Jenner is the Kardashian sister who perpetually switches up her hair (whether that’s with dye, haircuts, or wigs), then Kourtney Kardashian is the familial opposite. It’s true that she’s dabbled with bangs and soft highlights in years past, but for the majority of the family’s pop culture reign, her hair has remained the same. The eldest sister is now pretty much known for her long, inky-black locks. In fact, we wouldn’t recognize her without them—and we’re not mad. Her hair is shiny, bouncy, and dimensional. In short, it works, and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?

So how does she keep her hair so unwaveringly healthy? According to The Zoe Report, it only takes two products. That’s it: two products that are also completely natural. She recently opened up about them, and her routine, on her website. Keep reading to see which products she swears by!

After showering, she rinses her hair with apple cider vinegar, which she uses as a natural conditioner. It’s been shown to protect the scalp’s natural oils (which is important for healthy hair) while adding moisture and shine. All you have to do is dilute some raw apple cider vinegar with water before adding to your strands. We like Bragg’s Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar ($8). If you’re not into the raw stuff, we don’t blame you. It does have a rather bitter smell. If you like your beauty products smelling fresh and floral instead, try Klorane Vinegar Shine Rinse With Chamomile ($18).

The second product she swears by (and the second step of her extremely low-maintenance hair routine) is to sleep on a silk pillowcase. Silk, as opposed to cotton, is thought to be gentler on the hair, preventing the cuticle from being roughened up, which leads to breakage. Try the Slip Silk Pillowcase ($79), which is a Byrdie favorite.
