Every now and then a look comes along that isn't just stunning in one department (say, lips or skin), but gets it right on every level. Skin, hair, makeup (eyes and lips), outfit, the whole shebang from head to toe. Such was the case with this utterly breathtaking look Jenna Dewan Tatum wore to Buick's 24 Hours of Happiness Test Drive Launch event this week in Los Angeles. Of course, it's no surprise that Dewan Tatum's insanely good tousled hair came at the hands of sought-after stylist Jen Atkin, who is the woman behind the Kardashians' always-perfect hair as well. Atkin, in fact, gave the actress a cut right before the event, for a fresh and fun update to her edgy A-line lob we documented last month, and colorist Denis De Souza also gave her locks a lighter color. To get the effortless texture, Atkin sprayed Sachajuan Ocean Mist ($30) and blow-dried with a DreamDry Blowdryer and Mason Pearson Brush ($230) to get a lot of volume and texture through the ends. "Once strands were dry, I alternated between a curling iron and flatiron, creating a loose wave with a one-inch GHD Curling Iron ($245) and Harry Josh Flat Iron, leaving the ends straight," Atkin says. As the finishing styling touch, she flipped the hair to one side and used R+Co's Aircraft Pomade Mousse ($29) to rough up the hair."

On the makeup front, makeup artist Patrick Ta took inspiration from her fiery orange-red dress. For clean, luminous skin, Ta applied Hourglass Serum to hydrate skin for optimal makeup application. "Then, I lightly applied Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation ($62) to ensure the complexion looked clean and bright, and not too heavy," he says. Ta lightly contoured the hollows of her cheeks with Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Summer ($64) to accentuate the cheekbones. Then he applied Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush (28) in Captivating to the apples of her cheeks, and The Balm Cosmetics' Mary-Lou Manizer ($22) to highlight. "I finished the face off with La Mer's The Powder ($65) to ensure long wear, and lastly, I misted the face with a setting spray to give the skin a naturally luminous finish."

For flirty eyes, Ta used a matte skin-like color on the lid, followed by a dark matte brown to the outer crease for drama and definition. "I curled the lashes and coated twice with waterproof mascara for long wear, and then added Ardell's Individuals in Flare Short  ($4) in black and Individuals in Flare Medium ($4) in black to create twinkly eyelashes!" For the coup d'état, he applied her stunning coral-orange lipstick, the shade in question being Anastasia Beverly Hills' Liquid Lipstick ($20) in Spicy.
