When the best of television congregates on one red carpet, we find ourselves in a whirlwind of fresh beauty inspo. The Emmys bring it. Every. Single. Year. So, as always, we do some serious digging to discover the specific beauty products used in creating celebrity skin and makeup. When we get our hands on the exact products used, that's success to us. But when we find out that each product is direct from the drugstore, that's the lottery.

Tatiana Maslany, who received the lead actress award for her work in Orphan Black, wore almost a full face of Makeup Academy on her winning night. Makeup Academy is an inexpensive cosmetics line exclusive to CVS, for those of you who are unfamiliar. The look was a sleek, monochromatic take on the Kylie Jenner bronzy-taupe trend (cue heart-eyes emoji). Thanks to celeb makeup artist Mai Quynh, we have all the details. Here's proof that there's room for drugstore makeup on a red carpet. Keep scrolling to get this affordable Emmys look!

Makeup Academy Professional Nude Eyeshadow Palette ($14)

Quynh started off the look by prepping Maslany's skin with a variety of Kiehl's products. First, she patted a few drops of Daily Reviving Concentrate ($46) onto the skin and followed that up with their Ultra Facial Cream ($28). After a bit of Creamy Under Eye Treatment With Avocado ($29), Maslany's skin was soft, smooth, and prepared for base makeup.

Here's where Makeup Academy comes in. Using a damp Beauty Blender ($20), Quynh buffed in the brand's Professional Under Eye Illuminator ($10) to disguise any under-eye darkness. It was then set with a loose powder for a red carpet–approved hold. We recommend Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Setting Powder ($38).

Next, Quynh reached for the Nude Eyeshadow Palette. The shimmering bronze shade was applied to the lid and the lower lash line, whereas the gold shade was used to highlight the inner eye. She added the dark brown shade to the upper lash line and crease. Voilà: three steps to a perfectly diffused smoky eye. Follow up with Intense Color Gel Eye Liner in Chocolate Brown ($8), and Amp Up Adjustable Impact Mascara in Midnight Black ($8). Maslany's perfectly symmetrical brows were defined with the Professional Brow Pencil and Highlighter in Dark Brown ($10).

Now for the finishing touch, a creamy nude lip. To round out the neutral tones, Quynh swiped on the Color Drench Lip Butter in Nude ($8) for high color impact and comfortable, all-night wear.
