Emma Stone’s Eggplant Eye Shadow Has Us Excited For Fall
Emma Stone’s makeup for the Birdman premiere at the 71st Venice Film Festival in Italy reminds us of how deeply we’ve missed (and how excited we are for) fall beauty. Stone’s features acted as the perfect canvas for celebrity makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin, who drew inspiration from cool tones like magenta, plum, and eggplant. “I wanted to create a look that would juxtapose her warm red hair, while complementing the dark green shade of the dress.”
To enhance the Revlon Global Brand Ambassador’s freckled complexion, Goodwin prepped the actress’ skin with Revlon’s Nearly Naked Makeup ($10) in Vanilla, then added a pop of color by dabbing Revlon’s Cream Blush ($13) in Flushed onto the apples of her cheeks. Goodwin’s play on cooler tones continued with Revlon’s ColorStay ShadowLinks ($3) in Petal all across Stone’s lids, followed by the brand’s Eggplant shade. One of the finishing touches for Stone’s peepers included two coats of Revlon’s Bold Lacquer Length & Volume Mascara ($8) in Black. And what fall beauty look would be complete without defined brows? For that, Goodwin used Revlon’s Brow Fantasy ($8) in Dark Blond.
What do you think of Emma's look? Are you going to give it a try?
