Was Emma Stone's Oscars Beauty Look Inspired by Hollywood? We Think So

Adrianna Barrionuevo

From her stunning Givenchy Haute Couture gown to her elegant beauty look, Emma Stone looked every part a movie star at this year's Academy Awards. The actress, who's been dominating in the beauty department all award season, donned her signature red hair in a perfectly coiffed style and complemented her locks with a bold, brick-red lip—using Nars Audacious Lipstick in Mona ($34)—and a smoky eye. No word yet on whether or not her Old Hollywood–glam look was inspired by her film La La Land, but either way, it was gorgeous.

Her makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin, prepped Stone's skin using Sisley's cult-favorite Black Rose Cream Mask ($162) and used a mix of Nars makeup products—including Skin Illuminator in Hot Sand ($30) and the brand's upcoming Sweep Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer in Seaside—to perfect Stone's beautiful complexion. Longtime hairstylist Mara Roszak styled the Best Actress nominee's retro waves using a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer for a shiny finish and topped off the look with a deep side part and of course, a little bit of classic L'Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray ($15). Hollywood glamour at its finest? We think so.
