The Celebrity Beauty Editorials You Don't Want to Miss
In the five months since Byrdie’s launched, we’ve been lucky enough to shoot a handful of our favorite celebrities modeling summer beauty trends, holiday party looks, and an inspiring parade of hair and makeup by some of our favorite artists. We thought we’d put them all in one place in case you missed one—and because they’re so damn pretty.
Our debut editorial featured Brit Marling, shot by Justin Coit, with hair and makeup by Laini Reeves and Darlene Jacobs respectively. Marling taught us about Cashewtopia ice cream; needless to say, life’s been a lot better since.
Julianne Hough brought two cute pups and a game-for-anything attitude to our studio when we shot her in August. Hairstylist Riawna Capri tended to her influential shag (who hasn’t gone short since then?!) and Molly R. Stern knocked out one awesomely bright look after another.
Dianna Agron’s always been big on beauty risks, so makeup artist Georgie Eisdell and hair genius Jenny Cho had no problem helping the Glee actress channel everyting from her inner goth to Debbie Harry when we shot her in September.
We might run a beauty magazine, but we’ve never seen hair as gorgeous as Hannah Simone’s. The New Girl actress showed off a handful of ways to wear strong, shiny locks, thanks to hair stylist Giannandrea and makeup artist Fabiola.
We know you just saw Nicole Richie’s stunning editorial last week, but it’s worth a second glance as New Year’s Eve approaches. Makeup artist Lauren Andersen turned runway looks real life ready to go with Andy Lecompte’s slicked back topknots.
