How to Get Blake Lively's Bronze Bombshell Glow

Though there were more stunning beauty looks at Cannes than we could count, Blake Lively’s bronze bombshell look at the Mr. Turner premiere stood out above the rest. Perhaps it was her perfect, cascading waves. Or maybe it was her sun-kissed glow and perfectly pink lipstick. Whatever the reason, we found ourselves completely smitten with the new L’Oréal Paris brand ambassador’s mermaid-like makeup. Curious about how to recreate Lively’s glow, we spoke with Karim Rahman, L’Oréal Paris global makeup artist and the creator of this stunning look. Lucky for us, he was more than happy to divulge his secrets.

First, Rahman used L’Oréal Paris’ Colour Riche Eyeliner ($9) in Black Brown to line Lively’s eyes and create a soft, smoky look. To blend it out, he used the brand’s Infalliable Eyeshadow ($8) in Bronzed Taupe, a shimmery, warm chocolate brown shade, on the outer corners of her crease. Then, he skipped bronzer entirely and reached for a warm, beige blush instead—namely, L’Oréal Paris’ True Match Super-Blendable Blush ($11) in Soft Sun. Finally, Rahman finished the look off with a swipe of L’Oréal Paris’ Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain ($10) in Rose On and On for a sheer, slightly glossy tint of pink. Lively may not have a film premiering at this year’s Cannes, but we’re giving her a resounding round of applause anyway for killing it on the red carpet.
