CeraVe Moisturizing Cream ($11)
>“It's the most moisturizing, soft, and emollient lotion I have ever used. It absorbs quickly, so you don't feel greasy.”
>Evian Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray ($12)
>“I love the look of dewy skin but I hate the look and feel of greasy, shimmery products, so I use Evian Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray. After I've applied all of my makeup and set it with powder, I lightly mist my face with the spray and let it soak in. The mist gives my skin a natural, glowing finish and adds a extra punch of hydration.”
>John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Lightening Shampoo ($6)
>“Dear John Frieda, please never discontinue your Go Blonder Lightening Shampoo. Even with access to all the most expensive haircare options, I am very loyal to this drugstore buy. It's amazing for highlighted hair because it makes your lighter pieces much brighter and delivers body without the brassy side effect common with some volumizing shampoos.”
>Maybelline BabyLips ($5)
>“It’s slightly embarrassing how many of these I own (or carry around with me at any given moment). The cute packaging, tint of color, slight sheen it leaves on the lips, fruity-but-not-juvenile smell…suffice to say, I’m obsessed. In fact, I just bought one from the new Pink Collection yesterday—obsessed, I tell you!”
Neutrogena Oil-Free Liquid Eye Makeup Remover ($9)
“I'm a freak about removing all mascara before bed—this always leaves my lashes perfectly clean without having to rub my eyes too hard. It's one of those things I buy every time I'm at the drugstore because I have a fear of it running out.”
>L’Oréal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara ($9)
>“This mascara gives me volume, a rich tint, and never makes my eyelashes clump. It is the holy grail of drugstore beauty, so to speak.”
Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream ($6)
“I am absolutely addicted to these lip creams—I have them in almost every color. One coat is great for a little color, and you can layer them very easily without getting a caked-on look. The texture is perfect and the application is foolproof!”
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm ($9)
“I am all about the matte finish when it comes to lipstick, so this easy-to-apply lip pencil is definitely a staple in my bag! It leaves my lips with a velvety feeling and keeps its high pigment throughout my entire work day, even after my endless cups of tea!”
Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps in Tea Tree Oil ($3)
“The name is no joke: these soaps are magic, straight up. I use the Castile Liquid Soaps for everything: washing my face (they dissolve makeup and dirt FAST, and the tea tree oil option is great for acne-prone skin), cleaning my makeup brushes, as an all-over body wash, and even cleaning around the house. Just recently, I got some egg yolk in my hair (don't ask), and got it out without even hopping in the shower by applying a couple drops from the mini travel bottle that I (obviously) had in my purse over the kitchen sink. Bottom line: they last forever, and you can use them for honestly everything. Right now, I probably have somewhere between 3 and 4 bottles in my apartment.”
