    January Jones as Betty Draper

Whether you love her or hate her, chances are you have a pretty strong opinion about Draper—which is exactly what we assume the writers wanted when they crafted this powerful female lead. Draper often accentuates her pearls and pretty ensembles with matte pink lips, brushed-out retro curls, and plenty of sass.

    Christina Hendricks as Joan Harris

We all have a small piece of us that wishes we could be a little more like Harris. She owns her sexuality, pairing her skin-tight pencil skirts with a thick line of upturned liquid liner or a deep crimson pout. And did we mention her amazing red hair?

    Elizabeth Moss as Peggy Olson

Watching Olsen’s journey from secretary to copywriter in a man’s world? One of our favorite parts of the show. Olsen kept it natural in the first season, then began to play around with non-makeup makeup as her character gained more confidence.

Paré, the second wife of Jon Hamm’s character, Don Draper, gets to have the most fun with her hair and makeup in the series. From a smoky eye, to a teetering up-do, you never know what she’s going to cook up in her walk in boudoir.
