    L’Oreal isn’t Lively’s first step into beauty, she’s also the face of Gucci’s Premiere fragrance. The actress traded in her dewy complexion and pink pout for matte skin and a bold lip for the brand’s S/S 13 show in Milan last month.

L’Oreal announced their newest ambassador in Paris last night— via Instagram! Blake Lively, the sun-kissed California blonde who rose to fame via Gossip Girl—and the world’s best use of highlighter—will star in the brand’s ads for both hair and makeup starting next year. Lively says her love of the brand started young, as soon as she heard the “Because you’re worth it” tagline. “What an important value to instill in women, that beauty is rooted in confidence,” she says.
