Yves Saint Laurent Savage Escape Couture Palette ($60)
Golden sand, soft blue sky, billowing clouds: your dream vacay situation, and also the inspiration for YSL's new Summer 2016 collection (aptly named Savage Escape). The eye palette features all the shades you need for a mesmerizing, summer-ready eye look, while the matte cream-to-powder bronzer makes you look like you've been kissed by the sun. (For the record: The two new Full Metal Eye Shadows, $30, were used in the ad campaigns on none other than Cara Delevingne.)
Viktor & Rolf Bonbon Perfumed Hair Mist ($50)
We predicted hair perfume was going to get on everybody's radar awhile back, and we're happy to see more and more brands releasing tress-friendly iterations of their crowd-favorite fragrances. The latest one we can't get enough of is the Bonbon hair mist from Viktor & Rolf. Spritz it in your hands post-gym for an instant refresh, or anytime throughout the day to smell like sweet and caramel and hints of floral. Plus, the bottle is so damn cute.
Benefit Cosmetics Dandelion Shy Beam Matte Highlighter ($26)
Maybe you're not really into the whole shimmery highlighter thing. Not to fear: Benefit's new highlighter is the softer, more subtle version of the standard glitter-fecked cream. Sweep it above your cheekbones and down your nose, then blend. The formula melts into the skin instantly and highlights all the right places without screaming, "I'm wearing highlighter!" We love.
Milk Makeup Spray Nail Polish ($12)
Tried it. Loved it. Never painting our nails the normal way again. We’ve been anticipating the launch of spray nail polish for months now, and Milk Makeup’s new launch definitely did not disappoint. The color goes on evenly. And the excess washes off easier than we expected. The result? The perfect manicure (in a can). In short, it works.
Fans of the brand's Super Hero Serum ($120) are going to flip for the new sheet masks. The Deep Hydration delivers an ingredient that keeps your skin hydrated for up to 120 hours, while the Intense Facial Mask contains the brand’s signature Retinol 8 to hydrate, plump, and reverse signs of aging. Finally, the Reviving eye mask contains sodium hyaluronate, grapefruit extract, and canola oil to kick your eye bags and crow’s feet to the curb.
Pur Cosmetics Glow Together Jumbo Bronzer ($34)
Don’t be fooled—this bronzer is HUGE. Featuring three matte and three shimmer shades, the jumbo bronzer makes it look like you just got back from a weekend in Anguilla. Plus, proceeds from all purchases of this product will go towards Action Against Hunger, a global humanitarian organization committed to ending hunger and providing safe drinking water for those in need. A beautiful cause, indeed.
Why should your face get all the love? RoC's new multiuse face cream can also be slathered on your chest and neck, and has been clinically proven to visibly smooth fine lines in those areas in just four weeks.
Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Quad ($26)
Kat Von D’s foolproof new eye shadow palette houses four complementary shades specifically designed to contour, define, and highlight your ideal eye shape. Not sure how to do that? The quad comes with handy, illustrated instructions on how to lift, define, widen, and narrow your eyes. And the palettes are curated into four color families designed to complement blue, brown, green, and all eye colors. Most importantly, the silky shadows blend beautifully—seriously they go on like butter.
Lancome Juicy Shaker Pigment-Infused Bi-Phased Lip Oil ($21)
Raise your hand if you loved your Lancôme Juicy Tube. Now put it down and reach for your wallet, because you're going to love the new iteration: meet the new Juicy Shakers. Shake these mini shaker-shaped lip oils to mix the pigments, then use the sponge-tipped applicator to apply it on your lips. You'll get a surprisingly pigmented wash of color (which is totally buildable) with just a slight sheen—and absolutely no stickiness.
Available April 11 at Lancome-USA.com.
Formula X #ColorCurators: Ballet Beautiful Edition ($13)
You may not be a ballerina like Mary Helen Bowers, but you can certainly channel the elegance of one on your nails. Formula X partnered with Ballet Beautiful on a set of three ballerina-inspired shades, from deep metallic gray shimmer to a pale peachy-pink reminiscent of satin slippers.
Dior Diorshow Maximizer 3D ($30)
Diorshow is one of the most iconic mascaras ever. So how do you make it better? Throw a Diorshow primer under it, naturally. The new Maximizer 3D is a unique oil-serum concentrate that can be under mascara to amplify your lashes (we’re talking a noticeable boost in our volume and length) or overnight as a revitalizing treatment to strengthen your lashes. We consider ourselves mascara primer connoisseurs, and this one has potential to overthrow our current favorites.
Lalicious Sugar Lavender Sugar Scrub ($35)
The new lavender collection from Lalicious is the stuff your spa dreams are made of. The whipped sugar scrub in particular is super pampering; made with pure sugar crane crystals, it gently sloughs away dry skin cells while cold-pressed coconut and sweet almond oils moisturize and leave your skin silky-soft.
Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Acqua ($150)
If you love Tom Ford’s original Neroli Portofino, you’ll want to treat your nose to the new Acqua version. It perfectly captures the cool breezes and sparkling waters of the Italian Riviera, and is infused with intoxicating citrus oils like neroli, Sicilian lemon, and mandarin, fused with floral notes and amber undertones. Mmm…
Most clarifying shampoos leave your scalp feeling squeaky clean but your ends super dry. R+Co's new Oblivion duo fix that problem by removing residue and buildup while also hydrating and softening. Shampoo ingredients like rosemary leaf extract and tea tree oil purify, while the coconut oil, sweet almond oil, and moringa seed oil in the conditioner add luster and shine back to your overworked strands.
Dry shampoo devotees are going to love Dove’s new iteration of their classic hit. Formulated for all hair types and colors, the weightless formula removes oil without weighing your hair down in the slightest.
