Get Allison Williams' Tricked Out Hair from the New York Premiere of Girls
Allison Williams may have turned sexpot for her Elle cover this month, but at last night’s premiere of the third season of Girls in New York, the actress was pure princess—almost. “I made her hair a bit masculine in front, because you need that balance,” says hair stylist Renato Campora, who saved the sparkling bling for the back.
Campora wanted Williams’ hair “to look almost slicked back and wet, very stylized,” so he used Frederic Fekkai’s Spray Gel ($25) for that killer shine and set the bun with the brand’s Sheer Hold Hairspray ($25). Inspired by Williams’ icy blue Dior dress, Campora whipped up a custom hair accessory from strips of gems and beads, wrapping it around a tight, low knot at the nape of Williams’ neck. “It’s not coming right at you, but when she turns her head you discover it,” Campora says. “She was so happy when she saw it!”
