Something Was Different About the Makeup at Alexander McQueen

Fashion month isn’t usually the place to bookmark daytime beauty looks. To be honest, the makeup and hair we see, while often fabulous, is typically more appropriate for the stage. But this season we fell hard for the subtle, lived-in makeup at the Alexander McQueen fall fashion show. And we were thrilled to hear just how easy it is to re-create using four certified organic cosmetics.

The fashion house tapped makeup artist Lucia Pieroni, who called the look “moonlit skin with a beautiful glow to it.”
