Stop Applying Your Eye Cream at Night
Behind every influential New York face, there's most likely a great facialist—and in our experience, it's most likely Aida Bicaj. Celebs, editors, and CEOs alike swear by the Manhattan-based esthetician's skin-whispering touch—not to mention her lineup of Biologique Recherche products.
So, yeah—if Bicaj is offering up any tips or pointers, we're obviously paying attention. And here's a big one: It turns out one of those standard steps of nighttime skincare is actually a no-no in this facialist's professional opinion.

Bicaj's surprising tip: Don't use eye cream at night. "Only use it during the day," she tells Into the Gloss. "Because that skin is thinner, the water retention is more noticeable there—so when you apply eye cream at night and then go to sleep, you wake up puffy. In the morning, use very little from the temple and then you push it in toward the eye."
Want to still work on your fine lines at night without self-sabotaging? Your nighttime serum, oil, or cream should do the trick.
