  • Irene Neuwirth for Barneys
    1 of 10

Irene Neuwirth is the third designer to create a fragrance in collaboration with Barneys New York ($195) and, like her California-inspired jewelry line, she went for something bright and beachy. Notes of neroli open into orange blossom and jasmine before leaving behind base notes of vanilla and musk.

  • Born in Paradise
    2 of 10

Imagine being surrounded by coconuts, mangoes, guava, and watermelon. No, you’re not on vacation, but you’re probably wearing Escada’s new scent, Born in Paradise ($59). Lest you worry it sounds too sweet, the scent ends with warm notes of sandalwood and musk.

  • Brit Rhythm
    3 of 10

The spicy top notes of Burberry’s latest scent, Brit Rhythm ($70) give way to vetiver, musk, and wood for a powdery floral scent that feels right year around—and is especially perfect for spring.

  • Treehouse Royal
    4 of 10

There’s been a lot of talk about wood-based scents recently. If that both interests and intimidates you, snap up Pinrose’s Treehouse Royal ($50). It opens with cassis, fig, and pear, before settling into a surprisingly lightweight bourbon-meets-wood scent with a floral bouquet in the middle.

  • L'Eau de Toilette
    5 of 10

Carven’s new fragrance, L’Eau de Toilette ($79), is lighter than the brand’s initial offering. Le Parfum’s “little sister” smells like a fresh bouquet, with lemon, blonde wood, and just a bit of musk.

  • Eau de Roses
    6 of 10

A spicier version of Chloé’s classic scent, Eau de Roses ($75) opens with peony, freesia, and lychee before giving way to amber and honey. It manages to be both sophisticated and girly.

  • Signorina Eleganza
    7 of 10

Ferragamo’s luxurious Signorina Eleganza ($79) starts out fruity, but is full of leather, patchouli, and almond powder. It smells feminine and rich—as if the grosgrain ribbon-topped bottle wasn’t enough to make you want to put this scent on display.

  • Extatic
    8 of 10

Close your eyes and picture the Balmain woman—that’s what Extatic ($70) smells like. Rich, sparkly, and glamorous, it opens with pear and rose before landing on base notes of orchid and leather.

  • L'Eau Couture
    9 of 10

Orange blossom, almond, and vanilla are the main notes of the fresh new scent from Elie Saab, L’Eau Couture ($73). Inspired by the brand’s ethereal spring collection, it’s meant to capture the season’s fragrant blossoming—which it does, successfully!

  • Dolce Eau De Parfum

    10 of 10

Dolce & Gabbana's newest scent, Dolce Eau De Parfum ($90) smells like a fresh bouquet of white flowers, including neroli, daffodil, amaryllis, and musk—an ode to the designers' native Sicily.

It might be too soon to ditch your tights and leave the house without a coat, but it’s not too soon to start easing into your spring beauty routine. We’ve talked about faking a slight summer glow and embracing bright colors, but what about fragrance? There are a slew of fresh scents to choose from this season, from Escada’s pina colada-inspired Born in Paradise ($59) to Chloe’s beautifully packaged Eau de Roses ($75). Above, you’ll find a selection of those we’re most excited about.
